Sticky D was born and raised in the former DDR and has lived in Prague for a while, so digging for breaks in places where other producers don't get the chance to is a daily operation for him. And Axt knows how to flip the script when it comes to chopping them up and taking the old to the new. Which is in fact more important than having records that other people don't have if you want to make a good record yourself. And a good record we have here, based on the feedback alone the track has recieved in the months prior to it's release. The funny thing about Le Scratchfunk and MPM is that I have been briefly in touch with Sticky D for years. I remember that he gave me the first 12" of his old crew at one of my Soul Power parties at Studio 672 years ago and we have met at various other occasions afterwards. But I have to give credit to Defcon from the world famous Disco Diamant crew for really hooking me up with Le Scratchfunk when he told me about this ill breaks track a DJ from Aachen had made (and who sent me an mp3 afterwards).
